The TES-3040 is a digital AC clamp meter manufactured by TES Electrical Electronic Corp., based in Taiwan. It is a handheld, multifunctional tool used by electricians and technicians for measuring AC current, as well as several other electrical parameters.

3-3/4 digit LCD with bar graph: The clear digital display provides a maximum reading of 3999 and includes an analog bar graph for quick visual interpretation of readings.
Auto-ranging: This feature automatically selects the correct measurement range for volts, ohms, current, and frequency, simplifying the testing process.
Auto-power off: To preserve battery life, the meter automatically shuts down after approximately 30 minutes of inactivity.
Data hold and MAX/MIN modes: The data hold function freezes the current reading on the display, while the MAX/MIN feature records the maximum and minimum values measured during a test.
Zero adjustment/relative reading: This allows for zeroing out a reading to measure relative values, which is useful for tasks like removing the baseline current.
