Today it is hard to imagine life without temperature measurement, be it for the weather, the grill, chilled drinks, crafts or industry. The perceived temperature is extremely relative. While Central Europeans are extremely cold at -2° C, it is already spring-like for the residents of Greenland. The pyrometer has a temperature range of -50°C to 550°C (-58°F to 1022°F) and a backlit LCD.
