Description

The Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Measuring Instrument is a compact, multifunctional device designed for HVAC and Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) professionals. The base instrument has an intuitive measurement menu and features automatic probe detection. It can connect up to three probes simultaneously (Bluetooth, wired, and Type K thermocouple) to measure and document various parameters.

• Intuitive menus: The instrument includes pre-programmed, clearly structured menus for various applications, such as volume flow in ducts, IAQ measurements, and calculating heating/cooling output. These menus guide users through the measurement process.
• Efficient documentation: Measurement protocols (up to 7,500) can be stored internally and transferred to a computer via a USB port for further processing. You can also generate printouts directly on-site using an optional Bluetooth/IRDA printer.
• Smart calibration concept: Probe heads can be calibrated independently of the instrument itself. This allows the main device to remain in continuous use with other probes, increasing efficiency.
• Extended reach: Use extendable telescopes (sold separately) with smaller vane or hot-wire probes to take measurements deep inside large ducts or high-up ceiling outlets.
• Magnetic mounting: The instrument's built-in magnets allow for secure attachment to metal surfaces, such as ventilation ducts, freeing up a technician's hands.
• Testo 440 dP: A version of the instrument, the Testo 440 dP, is also available with an integrated differential pressure sensor for additional measurements, such as filter checks.
