Description
The HT Instruments COMBIG2 is a multifunction installation tester that includes comprehensive insulation testing capabilities. It is not a dedicated insulation meter but offers insulation testing with variable DC voltages as one of its many functions. The device is compliant with safety standards like IEC/EN61557-1 and features a color touchscreen and Wi-Fi connectivity.

Key Features
Test voltages: It can perform tests using DC test voltages of 50, 100, 250, 500, and 1000V.
Insulation resistance range: The device measures insulation resistance from 0.01 MΩ up to 1999 MΩ, depending on the test voltage selected.
Automatic test sequence: The COMBIG2 can perform an automatic sequence of tests, including non-trip earth resistance, RCD tripping time, and insulation resistance.
Polarization index (PI) and dielectric absorption ratio (DAR): For a more thorough analysis of insulation condition, the COMBIG2 is capable of measuring PI and DAR.
Direct-to-outlet testing: The tester can perform insulation tests directly from a power outlet without tripping the RCDs.
