Description
The HT Instruments HT-5000 is an intelligent cable and pipe tracer system used to find and determine the position and depth of underground cables and pipes. This two-part professional system consists of a TX5000 transmitter and an RX5000 receiver. It is commonly used in civil engineering and construction to minimize accidents from accidental excavation.

Dual coupling methods: Uses both inductive coupling with its integrated antenna for unknown or inaccessible lines and direct coupling for accessible, non-energized cables.
Adjustable power: The transmitted signal's power can be set to either 0.1W or 0.5W.
Depth measurement: The receiver can automatically measure the approximate depth of cables up to 5 meters and probes up to 7 meters.
Rugged design: The transmitter has an IP56 rating for dust and water resistance, and the receiver has an IP67 rating, making both durable for outdoor, in-field use.
Enhanced controls: Features include selectable signal modes (blinking or continuous), manual and automatic sensitivity adjustments, a display backlight, and a headphone jack for noisy environments.
