Extremely fast measurements: The device can perform insulation resistance measurements in as little as 0.5 seconds, significantly reducing testing time. Multiple test voltages: It features six selectable test voltages—50V, 100V, 125V, 250V, 500V, and 1000V—providing versatility for different testing requirements. Integrated functions: The Kyoritsu 3551 combines three key functions in one unit: insulation resistance testing, continuity testing, and voltage measurement. Enhanced safety: It offers full protection against accidental connection to a live circuit. An auto-discharge function is included to safely discharge any capacitive charge in the circuit after an insulation test. Automatic voltage detection: The tester can automatically detect whether the measured voltage is AC or DC.Clear, Backlit display: A large, digital LCD with a backlight makes readings easy to see, even in dark environments. Continuity testing: The continuity function includes a 0 \(\Omega \) adjustment to compensate for the resistance of test leads, ensuring more accurate low-resistance measurements. Status indicator: The insulation status indicator provides a quick pass/fail judgment with LCD backlight color that changes based on the test result.
