| Description
The Kyoritsu KEW 4140 is a multi-function LOOP/PFC/PSC tester designed for testing on 230V, 50/60Hz systems. It features "Anti-Trip Technology" that allows for trip-free loop testing on Residual Current Devices (RCDs) rated 30mA and above. The datasheet specifies details for the various functions and test modes. |
| Key Features
Loop Impedance (L-PE): Anti-trip technology (ATT) allows for low-current testing without tripping RCDs. A non-ATT mode is also available. Prospective Fault Current (PFC) and Prospective Short-Circuit Current (PSC): The tester directly reads the PFC (L-PE) and PSC (L-N/L-L). Simultaneous measurements: A dual display lets you view the loop measurement and the corresponding PFC/PSC at the same time. Phase rotation: It can detect and display the phase sequence (correct or reversed). Voltage and frequency: The device can measure voltage up to 500V and frequency from 45 to 65Hz. "Hands-free" testing: A lock-down test button with auto-start operation allows for hands-free use. Visual indicators: Visual feedback is provided for reversed phase and neutral wiring. Backlit display: The display and front panel are backlit for use in dark locations. Durable construction: It has a water and dust-proof rating of IP54. |
