Measurements: The meter offers a wide range of measurement functions, including: High voltage: Up to 2000 V DC and 1500 V AC (True RMS), ideal for PV systems. High current: Up to 1500 A AC or DC. Other measurements: Resistance, diode, capacitance, temperature, and frequency. Safety: It features a tactile barrier for hand protection and carries a CAT IV 600V / CAT III 1000V safety rating. Connectivity: The meter includes built-in Bluetooth for connection to the free Megger Link App, allowing for remote monitoring, data logging, and live trend graphing on a smart device. Display and interface: It has a large, clear, and backlit 6000-count digital display, with an automatic torch in the clamp jaw for use in low-light conditions. Intelligent functions:- Smart Hold: Gives an audible warning if a "held" reading increases significantly. MIN/MAX Hold: Measures and holds the maximum and minimum values over a period of time. Inrush Current: Measures the high start-up currents of electrical loads. Accessories: The DCM1500S typically comes with a full set of leads, including specialized PV test leads with MC4 plugs for solar panel connections, a thermocouple probe for temperature readings, and a hard carry case. |
