The Megger DET2/3 is a high-resolution, automatic ground tester designed for measuring earth electrode resistance and soil resistivity. It is a versatile and robust tool used for large or complex ground systems, such as communication networks and power substations.

High resolution and accuracy: Offers a 1 mΩ resolution and a single, fully automatic range from 0.01 Ω to 20 kΩ, providing high accuracy for earth electrode grid and soil resistivity tests.
Multiple test methods: The DET2/3 can perform 2-, 3-, and 4-pole ground resistance testing, as well as soil resistivity tests using Wenner and Schlumberger methods. It also offers stakeless resistance and attached rod technique (ART) measurements.
Advanced noise filtering: An automatic test frequency selection feature scans for frequencies with the lowest noise level to ensure accurate readings. The device can also be configured with user-selected frequencies to overcome adverse test conditions.
Intuitive display and diagnostics: It features a large, color display that shows numeric and graphical results. A live trace function allows engineers to visually diagnose noise issues in the system.
