| Description
The Sanwa DCM2000DR is a robust, True RMS digital clamp meter capable of measuring both AC and DC current up to 2000A. It is a versatile tool for electricians and industrial technicians, as it also includes digital multimeter (DMM) functions and a high safety rating. |
| Key Features
Max Current: 2000A AC/DC. Safety Rating: CAT IV 1000V, suitable for use in high-voltage industrial environments. Measurements: True RMS sensing for accurate readings on non-sinusoidal waveforms. Display: 6000-count dual LCD with a backlight, showing current/voltage and frequency simultaneously. Jaw Size: 55mm clamp diameter to accommodate large conductors. Electric Field (EF) Sensing: Non-contact AC voltage detection for added safety. VFD Measurement: A low-pass filter and Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) frequency measurement capability allow for stable readings in noisy electrical environments. Ghost Voltage Attenuation: A low-input impedance voltage measurement mode helps to ignore or "attenuate" ghost voltage, which can cause misleading readings. Peak Hold: Captures transient peak currents, such as in-rush current, with a 5-millisecond interval. Auto Power Save: Extends battery life by turning off the meter after 30-34 minutes of inactivity (this feature can be canceled). Hold Functions: Includes data hold, range hold, and a relative value function for capturing and comparing measurements. DMM Functions: The meter includes a full suite of multimeter functions, such as: AC/DC voltage measurement up to 1000V, Resistance (up to 40 MΩ), Capacitance (up to 2000 µF), Frequency (up to 1999 Hz), Diode test and continuity check with buzzer. |
