| Description
The Sanwa MG500 is a digital insulation tester with a dustproof and splashproof IP54 rating, designed for electrical professionals who need to perform insulation resistance tests in challenging industrial or field conditions. |
| Key Features
IP54 rating: This ensures the device is protected from limited dust ingress and water spray from any direction, making it suitable for tough environments. Test voltages: Offers three selectable DC test voltages for insulation resistance measurements: 500V, 250V, and 125V. Measurement ranges: Can measure insulation resistance up to 4000 MΩ, as well as AC/DC voltage up to 600V and continuity (Ω). Live circuit detection: Automatically detects if a circuit is live (over 30V AC/DC), sounding a buzzer and inhibiting the insulation test for user safety. Auto-discharge: After a test is complete, the tester automatically discharges any residual voltage in the circuit. Display: Features a large, easy-to-read 4200-count LCD with a backlight for working in dark locations. It also includes an analog-style bar graph display for quick visual checks. Data hold: An automatic data hold function freezes the measured value on the screen after a test, allowing for easy recording. Built-in case: A tough, integrated carrying case protects the instrument and securely stores the test leads. Auto power save: The device will automatically enter a power-saving mode after approximately 10 minutes of inactivity. |
