| Description
The Sanwa PDR302 is a portable analog earth tester with a phase detection system designed for high-precision measurement during electrical maintenance and construction work. The device measures earth resistance using a constant-current system and also functions as an AC voltmeter. |
| Key Features
Analog display: The meter uses a pointer-style analog display for measurements. Phase detection system: The internal circuitry includes a phase detection system for stable and accurate measurements. Earth Resistance: It has three ranges: 10Ω, 100Ω, and 1000Ω. AC Voltage: A dedicated range measures AC leakage voltage up to 30V to avoid measurement errors caused by stray currents. Auxiliary grounding check: An LED indicator alerts the user if the auxiliary grounding resistance is too high ($>$10kΩ), which would compromise the measurement accuracy. Power-saving design: A push-button switch is used to initiate measurements, which helps conserve battery life. Three- and two-pole measurement: The device supports both three-pole (for high accuracy) and simplified two-pole testing methods. |
