The Sanwa VS-100 is an analog multimeter equipped with a high-capacity, current-limiting fuse for enhanced safety when working with low-voltage, high-power circuits. Its primary safety feature is a 600V/3A ceramic current-limiting fuse that can interrupt a massive short-circuit current of up to 100kA.

Dual fuse protection: In addition to the 100kA current-limiting fuse for high-power circuits, the VS-100 also includes a separate, lower-rated glass-tube fuse for general use.
Safety priority: The multimeter is specifically designed with a focus on safety for maintenance and testing on equipment with large capacitance and high currents, such as power lines.
Capacitor testing: A specialized feature includes a pointer indication that shows the maximum movement from the charged current of a capacitor.
