The TES-45A CAT-5 LAN Cable Tester is a compact, battery-powered tool for testing various network and coaxial cables. The device tests for wiring faults such as open, shorted, reversed, crossed, and split pairs, and features a dual-display LED to clearly show the status of the wiring. |
| Key Features
Comprehensive testing: It can be used on a wide range of Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) and Foil Twisted Pair (FTP) cables, including 10BaseT, 100BaseTx, TIA-568A/B, and 10Base2 (Coax). LED indicators: The device features a double digital 14-segment LED display and several analog LEDs to clearly show the status of the wiring and indicate any faults. Remote identifiers: Remote identifiers allow for testing up to 8 different cables from a single point. Over-voltage protection: With a maximum 56V of over-voltage protection, the device is safeguarded against damage if it's accidentally connected to a live networking circuit. Simple operation: Testing is as simple as pressing the "TEST" button, and the device will automatically run all tests within a few seconds. Auto power-off: To conserve battery life, the tester includes an auto power-off function. |
